History 1989 - present

1989

  • Founded as W&S Automation B.V. located in Breda
  • Main activities around distribution of CAD design systems for the Printed Circuit Board industry, mainly in the BeNeLux area

1991

  • Added electrical test systems for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing to the portfolio with flying probe testers for sales and support in the BeNeLux area

1992

  • Moved to the town of Raamsdonksveer sharing premises with sister company W&S BeNeLux B.V.
  • Launch of Subcontract Testing service of PCB's with the world's first double sided Flying Probe Testers
  • Expansion of service and support channel into United Kingdom and Germany for various product lines all for the PCB manufacturing industry

1994

  • Start of growing the productline portfolio for the European PCB market
  • Strategic decision to become full supplier for European PCB industry
  • Start of new sister company Screens & Stencils B.V.
  • Purchase of large high precision LPKF Laser Cutting machine for subcontracting service of high precision solder paste stencils

1996

  • Move to new purpose built premises in the town Raamsdonksveer
  • Adding additional activities by take over Veribest Cad tools from Intergraph B.V.

1998

  • Sold sister company Screens and Stencils B.V. to DEK from the UK, continuing as DEK BeNeLux B.V.
  • Sold sister company Veribest to Mentor Graphics
  • Change of name from W&S Automation B.V. to Adeon Technologies B.V.
  • Expanding activities in PCB manufacturing industry as exclusive distributor for leading suppliers
  • Start of software application & competence centre for CAM software tools

2001

  • Move to new purpose built premises in the town of Oosterhout

2003

  • Increase of service activities as full service partners for growing number of suppliers from outside Europe
  • Start of new own and in house development of software tools for the PCB industry

2006

  • Take over of BSL-UK Ltd. and launch of Adeon Technologies UK Ltd.
  • Adeon Technologies UK Ltd. operating under full control from headquarters in the Netherlands
  • Take over of all ATG flying probe testing service & support for the UK, Denmark & BeNeLux

2009

  • Adeon founder hands over the last of his shares to current owner
  • Preparations for large expansion started with talks of take over Camtek Europe N.V. a 100% subsidiary from Camtek Ltd. in Migdal Haemek in Israël

2010

  • Move to larger premises in Breda
  • Finalizing take over Camtek Europe N.V. and start of renewing service and support channel for Europe
  • Partnering with sales agent Mr. Claude Brestenbach in France for AOI, SDI and Plasma product lines

2011

  • Adding more Field Service Engineers
  • Most successful year in history with achieving > 50% growth

2012

  • Still managed a small additional growth in 2012 of approximately 5%
  • Additional Field Service Engineers added to the existing crew
  • Invested in new CRM & Service software tools to increase product communication with our customers
  • Invested in new Engineering Workshop in Breda premises
  • Announced new partnership with Cedal Equipment

2013

  • Further expanded the engineering team
  • Implemented new Quality Registration System and procedures to further increase the overall service quality and spare parts management & stocking
  • Overall a good and healthy year for business 

2014

  • First Ledia Direct Imaging Systems installed by Ucamco
  • Expansion into France with our own native French sales and app
  • Installing first Camtek AOI systems with full loading-unloading automation
  • Achieved overall growth of 12%

2015

  • Received 35th purchase order for Integr8tor our territory
  • Experienced a most exciting Productronica Exhibition with 120 sq mtr booth

2016

  • Expanded once again with additional engineers due to more increasing activity in predictive maintenance
  • Implemented our own newly developed Service Management Software tool 
  • Achieved a record year already at the end of the third quarter in turn-over and profiit allowing further future investment in our infrastructure
  • Addition of direct sales channel to the French market

2017

  • Signed agreement with DIS Technology Inc to become their European Distributor
