Vacancy:
In order to expand our growing organization, we are looking for a motivated Field Application & Service Engineer (jr./sr.) in order to perform service & process support on our optical inspection equipment.
Part of your daily task responsibilities will contain the following items:
- Preparing the equipment in our Breda premises for installation and give customer training on site;
- Work closely together with our suppliers and customers on new future developments;
- Implementing and optimizing processes;
- Perform service and customer support in case of a machine down situation;
- Perform annual preventive maintenance in order to reduce downtime;
- Analyze defective parts and problems and update the preventive maintenance check- and parts list to improve customer experience.

Function and training path:
Because we are a close-knit team and want to retain our engineers for a long time, we find it important that our specialists find a good balance between work and leisure time. When you are not on the road we have a very flexible attitude to enjoy extra free time.
On average, our engineers spend mostly maximum half their time "on the job". The other half includes in the office, Planning, preparations and reporting. The initial focus will lie on learning our range of Plasma and Via Filling Systems and a potential expansion in the future to other products.
The Offer:
We offer a one-year contract to start with, after which a permanent contract with an attractive salary and more than excellent terms of employment becomes available for further development when all goes according to plan.
Description:
- You have successfully finished your technical education at MBO and/or HBO (NL-level)
- You are at least 24 years old;
- Experience as a field service engineer is a bonus, but we deem willingness to travel, learn and a no-nonsense mentality more important;
- You can work independently, are analytical and work systematically, with a healthy pro-active attitude;
- You are a good communicator and you enjoy working in an international environment;
- You are fluent in English. Additional languages as German and or French are a plus;
- You have a good understanding of computers and Microsoft tools;
- You live in The Netherlands (Breda +/- 60km) or you are willing to move here;
- You already have a permanent EU Residence with Working Permit in The Netherlands.
