Camtek Ltd. has successfully launched her new PHOENIX AOI System. After extensive Beta testing at customer sites throughout Israël, United Kingdom, Taiwan & China, the Phoenix has recently been officially released. Following the Beta tests, Camtek received already more than 30 orders some for multiple systems.

The Phoenix technology offers nothing less than a true Revolution for AOI Inspection. A dedicated team of Camtek's most senior engineers have been working solely and in isolation on the developing the new technology. As a result Camtek achieved superb new illumination together with the new Software Interface that is built on 25 years of experience in the field of optical inspection for printed circuits board manufacturing. Phoenix offers Multi Zone & Multi Step technology as well as Micro Inspections and Metrology Engine. Dataprocessing is fully automated from Cam station without human intervention to automatically set up and scan in seconds.

In May and June 2012 Adeon will organise customer benchmark days with the Phoenix in its premises in The Netherlands for the european PCB manufacturing industry. Various european High End PCB manufacturers have already booked dedicated slots for visiting Adeon for benchmarking their own panels.
