Automatic separator for component fitted printed circuit boards
Type: TA The automatic separator is cutting scored or grooved pcbs automatically. The printed circuit boards are carefully separated stress free by a round cutter rolling from above and a linear cutter from below, without subjecting the printed circuit board to stressing surface tension.
Operation/handling: The pcb is put manually into the positioning unit. This way precise alignment is ensured.
Starting operation: The positioning unit pushes the pcb to the first separation point. Pcb is lowered, lying between the bottom linear cutter and the top round cutter. The round cutter is driving over the pcb whereas the linear cutter is cutting from below. The positioning unit is raised to drive straightly to the next separation point where it lowers again to continue cutting operations. After the last cut the positioning unit returns to the starting position.
The separation points can be input into a computer in tabular form, from where they can be retrieved, if required. The programs are stored on hard disk. Starting a program the positioning unit runs to all separation points as control run. The operator is able to check all points and to change if necessary.
