Horizontal Loader/ Unloader HS
Function: Loading or unloading of horizontally stacked pcbs into a line or from a line, for example: Exposing station
Loading: Pcbs are lying as a stack (max. height of stack: 500 mm) on a cart. The cart transports the pcb-stack to the Loader. The stack is pushed on a metal carrier which is at its lowest position in the Loader. A metal carrier raises the pcb-stack upwards. Arrived above, the first pcb is taken from the stack by suckers and deposited on the transport level = infeed of the line. The min. cycle time for this is 6 sec. One pcb after the other is picked up to lay down on the infeed of the line. This movement is done by a linear unit, equipped with vacuum suckers. The suckers take the pcb and raises it. The linear unit drives ahead and lays the pcb down in the infeed area of the following line. Now the pcb can be centred pneumatically (option).
Different pcb sizes are put down with the same distance without additional adjustments. When the last pcb has been picked up from the stack, an alarm sounds and the tower light will flash yellow to alert the operator. The metal carrier drives downwards. The loader is ready for loading a new pcb-stack.
Unloading: Pcbs leave the line, run directly into the Unloader. They run through two gummed rollers on the metal carrier, which is lower than transport level. After the arrival of every single pcb the carrier lowers one cycle downwards. Pcb’s are stacked in this manner to a max. stacking height of 500 mm. The light tower is flashing yellow as soon as 90% of loading capacity are reached. When the Unloader is full, an alarm will sound and the light tower will be red. The carrier has arrived at its lowest position for off-loading by cart.
Types: HSF = Horizontal stacker for rigid and flexible pcb's HSFE = For loading the line HSFA = For unloading the line
Advantages • Quick and precise handling • No subject to pcb-size • Secure guide and recognition of each single pcb • Suitable accessories like carts, cassettes and magazines • Integrated in- and outfeed • Flexibel working height
